Carmel was a truly amazing volunteer at a day centre for blind and partially sighted I managed in the late 1990's. She always had a great sense of humour, was very kind and helpful with everyone. Since then she has been a wonderful friend, so very caring and gentle. My deepest sympathy to Barbara and all Carmel's family xx

Thoughts
Carmelleta- known to us as Carmel - was an excellent neighbour for over 35 years, friendly and always cheerful. We miss her greetings on her way to or from church or over the garden fence. She loved her family very much. She was a good example to us all of how to live our lives thinking about others. Our sincerest condolences to her family Hugh and Malcolm
